In this video you will learn the construction of an isosceles triangle using a compass.
Isosceles Triangle: A triangle with at least two congruent sides.
Procedure:
- Create a line segment that will be the base of the isosceles triangle.
- With one end of compass at one endpoint of the base, make an arc.
- At the other end of the base, make another arc without changing the radius.
- Connect each end of the base to the intersection of the two arcs, or the vertex, forming an isosceles triangle.
