With the birth of my son approaching, I started thinking about all of the things I want to teach him and do with him. I had really big ambitions, probably too high, like building an electric kid’s car with him. I’d have to teach myself first. We’ll see what happens.
I realized what really matter though is supporting him in whatever he wants to do and giving him the confidence to do so. That’s why I wrote this book, Lucas & His Rocket.
The story is written to teach him, and all children, that if you believe in yourself and work hard, you can achieve your goals. There may be setbacks and adversity, but if you don’t give up, you can accomplish anything.
I might by biased, but I think this is the best kids’ book ever written ;). Okay, yes, I am biased. However, many of my friends have bought it for their kids, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and they tell me that the kids love this book.
One of my good friends, told me that her daughter gets excited whenever she sees the book and reaches for it. Her daughter loves the illustrations and sits to hear the whole story being read.
