Founded in 1961, SUNY Adirondack is a public college that serves northern Saratoga, Washington, and Warren counties in the state of New York. The school, formerly known as Adirondack Community College (ACC), offers more than 30 academic programs for students.
When the SUNY at Plattsburgh Queensbury Branch on the SUNY Adirondack campus opened its doors for the first time, four-year degrees and master’s degree programs were launched. SUNY Adirondack adopted its current name on March 1, 2010.

SUNY Adirondack is located at 640 Bay Rd, Queensbury, New York 12804, United States. The campus houses several buildings and establishments. The business and admissions offices can be found in Warren Hall, while the school bookstore, cafeteria, and student lounge are in the Student Center building.
Classroom buildings in the SUNY Adirondack campus include the Eisenhart Hall, Washington Hall, Dearlove Hall, Scoville Building, and Science and Humanities building. In the Fall of 2013, a new student housing was also furnished in the campus.

Athletics
Students who want to join the school’s competitive teams are required to be enrolled full time during the specific season of their competition. They should also reach the minimum academic eligibility requirements: a 1.75 GPA for their first semester and 2.0 for every semester that comes after that.
The same requirements for cumulative course work are given to transfer student-athletes. For those who are second season student-athletes, they need to meet accumulation requirements plus a minimum 2.0 GPA.
SUNY Adirondack is also a member of the NJCAA Region 3 Mountain Valley Athletic Conference.
