Morrisville State College or SUNY Morrisville (formerly Morrisville State College) is a public college with two campuses in New York: one in Morrisville and one in Norwich. The school belongs to the State University of New York (SUNY) system, along with 63 other schools.

Morrisville State College is located in 80 Eaton St, Morrisville, New York. Spanning 150 acres, the campus is situated in rural Central New York, 30 miles east of Syracuse. It has more than 1,000 acres of college-managed farm and woodland, which is mainly used by the school for a wide range of agricultural, environmental and animal sciences programs. Morrisville also has a small satellite campus downstate located in Norwich, New York.

The Mustangs, the official school varsity team, compete against other schools in many sports. Those who love sports but prefer not to join at a varsity level may take advantage of intramural and recreational sports like clinics that are hosted throughout the school year.
Another interesting program unique to Morrisville State College is an equestrian program that is housed in a state-of-the-art facility just 3 miles from campus. Aside from competitive riding, students may access trails around the facility and participate in the breeding program if they are interested.
For enthusiasts, there’s also a draft horse and driving horse training facility, three indoor riding arenas, two outdoor riding arenas, and a half-mile college harness racing track. The facility is big enough to permanently house more than 300 horses at once.
Athletics
Morrisville State College has an intercollegiate athletics program that offers students several different sports to choose from. The Mustangs have men’s and women’s soccer, basketball, cross country, lacrosse, a hunt seat equestrian team, a western equestrian team, men’s football, and field hockey. Women have the option to take part in softball and volleyball. The official school colors are green and white.
Morrisville equestrian teams are particularly interesting for many as they have access to high-quality facilities and a huge number of horses (more than 150) that can be used for lessons, riding, practice, and competition.
The school has its own 34,000-square-foot breeding and hunter/jumper facility, along with two 80′×264′ indoor riding arenas for western events. Both teams regularly take part in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, Region 3, Zone 2.
In addition, Morrisville State College has a comprehensive schedule of recreational, intramural, and on-campus sports held throughout the academic year. There are also clinics and sports camps that aim to serve both students and kids.
