Cayuga Community College (CCC), formerly known as Cayuga County Community College, belongs to the 64 colleges that make up the State University of New York (SUNY). The college mainly caters to the higher education needs of the residents of the Cayuga and Oswego counties. It operates through two campuses: Auburn and Fulton. The school was founded in 1953 when the State University of New York system approved its establishment.

Location
Cayuga Community College is located in the Cayuga-Oswego County region. CCC has one campus in Auburn and a second in Fulton. The Auburn Campus has a main structure that is made up of five main sections referred to as “buildings.” When facing the campus are from right to left, those buildings are Spartan Hall, the Main Building, the Regional Economic Center, the Library Building, and the Tech Building.
Degree programs offered in these buildings include health sciences such as Occupational Therapy Assistant programs, media production, art, accounting, education, criminal justice, geographic information systems, and liberal arts.
Academics
Degree and certificate programs are available to students. The degree programs available include Associate of Science and Arts degrees for students who want to transfer to a four-year university or college to complete a baccalaureate degree. These degrees are offered in various areas of study such as Business Administration, Computer Science, Liberal Arts and Sciences, Geographic Information Systems, and Studio Art and Design.
Students also have the option to take Applied Associate of Science (A.A.S.) degree programs. These courses are for those who want to take up a profession directly after completing their course. Students can opt for Nursing, Telecommunications Technology, Electrical Technology, Criminal Justice, Accounting, and Business Administration.
Several certificate programs are offered as well, which focus on specific careers for immediate entry into the workforce. The areas of study for the certificate programs include Computer-Aided Design, Accounting, Computer Hardware/Software Design, Early Childhood, Criminal Justice, Electronics, and General Business.
Student Life
There are a number of clubs and organizations on the campus. Students may join Harlequin Productions, an award-winning group that organizes live theater for their fellow Spartans. There’s also a student newspaper known as the Cayuga Collegian. The Auburn/Cayuga Community College Alumni Association publishes the ACC/CCC alumni newsletter each semester.
Athletics
Cayuga Community College teams are called the Spartans. Their official school colors are red and white. The school has a wide range of sporting teams in the male and female division who are members of the National Junior College Athletic Association, Region III.
