What is the TACHS?

The TACHS (Test for Admission into Catholic High Schools) is a test used to determine admission into the Catholic High Schools in New York City.

Who takes the TACHS?

The test is taken by 8th grade students who plan on applying to one of the Catholic High Schools in New York City.

When is the TACHS given?

The TACHS is generally given in early November. The TACHS exam will be administered in the Archdiocese of New York on Friday, November 8, 2013, and in the Diocese of Brooklyn/Queens on Saturday, November 9, 2013.
