Researchers say that many low-income students select under-performing schools close to home because they are uninformed of the options available. A new app will allow students to put in their address, interest, willingness to travel and other factors to help them explore available high schools and make informed decisions. With more than 400 public high schools to choose from, this app will surely help students with the selection process.
