Our test prep course for the NYS 7th grade math test is based on the released questions from previous years. Each year, the State Education Department releases partial tests, showing a portion of the questions on the recent test. We’ve worked through all of the available past tests to piece them together and make our practice tests and course. In our course students will learn all of the necessary concepts to ace the state test.

Format of Our Course
- Diagnostic Test
Before jumping into the lessons, students take a full-length practice test to familiarize themselves with the test and to set a baseline to compare against.
- Interactive Lessons
Lessons are made up of one or more short instructional videos. Each video is followed by one or more practice questions to keep the students engaged and test them on the information that was just presented.
- Practice Sets with Video Explanations
Each lesson has a set of practice questions with video explanations to help students practice and get help solving the questions correctly. Students are able to watch a video explanation for a practice question before moving on to the next question; this was students learn while they practice.
- Unlimited Math Practice
Additionally, each topic has a set of practice questions with 100’s or 1,000’s of questions. Students will have all of the resources they need to master test questions.
- Practice Tests
After completing the lessons and practice problems, students are able to put all of their hard work together and try additional practice tests.

Format of the 7th Grade NYS Math Test
The 7th grade New York math test is made up of two parts. A calculator is allowed for both parts.

- Part II: 7 multiple-choice questions & 8 open-ended questions
